Abstract

Pakistan is one of the regions full of old age historical remains. Moenjodaro and Harappa are the sites that have been recognized and preserved internationally but there are many unheeded places like in the district Mandi Baha uddin, the district with lush green planes and the granary of agricultural produce.

The British government established the Railway station here not only due to this reason but also the industrial site of ICI at Khewra might be reached easily from here so the biggest Railway Junction of Malakwal was also constructed. The walled city and planned housing compartment were also built in this regard, that in turn increases the importance of this area. However, after the creation of Pakistna the area has been neglected owing to the insufficiency of administrative resources and also in the wake of the troubles of the migration. I give details of a few historical sites with pictures which I took during my visits to the educational institutions for the collection of data for my PhD thesis.
