Journal of English Linguistics and Literature (JELL) is an interdisciplinary, double-blind peer-reviewed international journal published by EScience Press. JELL covers a wide spectrum of English Linguistics, Language and Literature including; Historical Linguistics, Sociolinguistics, Psycholinguistics, Computational Linguistics, Phonetics, Phonology, Morphology, Syntax, Semantics, Pragmatics, Lexicology, Corpus Linguistics, Critical Discourse Analysis, Stylistics, ESL (English as a Second Language), EFL (English as a Foreign Language), TESOL (Teaching English to the Speakers of other Languages), Second Language Acquisition, Foreign Language Acquisition, English Language Teaching and Learning For Specific Purpose, Cultural Studies, Comparative Literature, Translation, Literary, Critical and Cultural Theories. It also covers critical evaluation and appraisal of different literary pieces from all eras of English Literature.

Articles on theoretical, historical developments, comparative and correlational studies, case studies of transnational language linkages, empirical analyses, commentaries and short communication are accepted for publication. Book Reviews for new arrivals are also accepted. A special issue of the journal is published in the background of contemporary disciplines of English Linguistics, Language and Literature.
