CORPORATE GOVERNANCE – THE INDIAN INSIGHT

Abstract

Corporate governance is a framework designed to check the performance and the direction of corporate bodies. It aims to protect the interest of stakeholders. In India efforts are taken to extend such framework and governing bodies have toiled hard in this direction. This work is an attempt to put forth concepts, existing literature and practices on Corporate Governance prevalent in India.
